Court System

  3. The Tax Court enforces the application of tax laws all across the state of Oregon and hears any violations against taxes in court.
  4. The Court of Appeals is an appellate court that hears all appeals from Oregon's trial courts and administrative agencies, with the exception of severe cases that go directly to the Supreme Court.
  5. The Supreme Court has jurisdiction to review the Circuit Court, Tax Court, and Court of Appeals decisions on cases as well as direct review of questions of law from a federal court and this court has discretion whether to hear a particular case.
